Patient portal
Their own record, and nobody else’s.
The patient portal lets a patient see their own appointments, the reports the clinic shares, prescriptions and bills, and pay online. New patients can book from the clinic’s site without an account.
Used by: Patients and their families.

What it does
- A portal showing appointments, reports, prescriptions and bills.
- Papers a patient brings from another hospital, filed by the clinic in folders on their record.
- Appointment reminders, and booking without an account.
- Erasure on request, carried out by the clinic, which removes what identifies them and keeps what the law requires.
What a patient sees
A patient signs in with their email and a password and sees their own record and nobody else’s: upcoming and past appointments, the reports the clinic has shared with them, their prescriptions and their medical records. Video consultations are joined from the same place.
Bills are listed as they are issued, and a patient can pay from the portal through the clinic’s online payment, with any credit they hold taken off first.
Booking without an account
A new patient does not need an account to ask for an appointment. The clinic’s own public site takes the request and confirms the phone number with a one time code.
Families and privacy
A child can be linked to the parent or guardian who brings them, so the front desk finds the family together. The link is for finding records, and gives nobody access to anyone else’s.
When a patient asks to be forgotten, the clinic carries out the erasure. It removes what identifies the person and keeps the visit dates, prescriptions and charges the law requires a clinic to hold, and it cannot be undone, so it asks for the patient’s ID to be typed to confirm.
Questions buyers ask
